I actually owe his former management company an enormous debt of gratitude.

They were my first professional web development client and started me on the road to where I am today. I was terrible at sales so it was really only them and their clients that I did work for.

But far more significantly, my partner was working there and that’s how we met. Some decades later that seems to have worked out quite well.
