  • As WordPress 4.7 hits the streets, I am in awe of @helenhousandi for leading the release and her deputies @jeffpaul & @aaronjorbin.

  • My last full day in the US was spent at the WordPress contributor day working on core.

    The most practical outcome of this was some final debugging (I hope) of the Twenty Seventeen header. David has put in a tonne of work on this theme, he deserves be proud of it.

    I’m writing this up in the flight lounge waiting to board the first leg of my flight home. The last few days have been ver busy catching up with people, meeting new people and general socialising.

    I’m both sad to be leaving but looking forward to getting back home.
