I’ve thought about it a lot over the last months and concluded WP Core ought not have telemetry. It’s network tracking in evening-wear.

Impressed with my first look at Gutenberg but it has a way to go (it’s beta):
- needs to be less first world centric; 2.6 megabytes, JavaScript only interfaces don’t play in much of the world
- took me way to long to work out how to include a
<!--more-->tag - inserting an image is more intuitive, oh caption my caption you now make sense ?
- looking forward to the custom meta boxes ticket being resolved, a good deal of the WP eco system and thus a lot of careers are built around these things
- it recovered relatively nicely when I broke the HTML comments used to wrap blocks
- as ugly as the HTML comments are, i like that the posts table remain backward compatible

May also spend a bit of time looking at what I lovingly call the trash can fire.

It's not satire it's racism. You're not punching up or exploring nuances of culture or story. You're King Billy Coke bottle. – @briggsge

If you’re a web dev making jokes about @design‘s circles, it’s border-radius: 100%, never a pixel value.
And the joke is tired.
