The new washing machine has arrived. On the basis that every warning comes with a history I am very concerned about the Darwin Award-esque:

• do not pour petrol or petrolatum products in to the drum, it will explode
• do not wash an electric blanket unless the label states it is safe to do so

The team in the Department of Washing Machines at Home Appliance Safety Inc. must constantly be asking themselves WTF is wrong with people?!
